Little kittens chat with momcat

MFB=mommy's first baby

Stargazer=wolverine

Golden child= no explanation needed

Scubydoo=you know who you are

Days since talking to scubydoo-0

Youngest child has left the nest to find the world - under the sea. However, he stays so busy he does not always touch base with the family. Decided to update here so siblings will know when there is a Scuby contact.
SCUBY CALLED TODAY!!!
He is very busy, and very happy. Working like a waterdog. He misses the dogs and the chickens. The weather is great. He has seen octupus, shark and porpoise.

Critter Corner:

What did the chickens do today?
During our latest frog straggeler (heavy rain) 14 chickens found safely in garage. All three pom poms found out in rain with the the small rooster dutifully beside them. Needless to say the pom poms are now flat tops. Hope they get their good looks back when they dry. Spouse suggested taking them to the groomer.

Deer continue to get closer and closer to house, snorting at us to go away so they can eat!

Deer coming closer to house.
1 blue herring in lake fishing this weekend.
Pom Poms all look great after being caught in rain.
One day this week Spouse and Frodo (his prize Mexican biting dog) got in the car to go to the office.
Spouse forgot something and went back into house,leaving car door open. When he came out, Chicken Little was in the drivers seat. Frodo thought it was "take a chicken to work day"!

Today my purse makes feel

like I need a new purse. My purse got really dirty this weekend so I went to Target and bought the exact same yellow canvas purse so now I have a purse and spare. One to wash and one to wear!

Flags of the Week

My spouse has a thing for flags, which has reached its boiling point now that we have three flag poles in our front yard. This week we are flying:

East Timur
Euritra
Denmark
Equatorial Gunea
University of Michigan
Univeristy of Tulsa

The Stars and Stripes were flown for Independence Day.

About Me

Mother of four children, three dogs, one cat, 18 chickens and countless wild animals. Spouse to one wonderful, patient man. Started this blog after a long, strange, 10 journey of Spouse and I living in two houses in two locations to educate our children. Relatives were very curious to know how we would get along when we were both under the same roof again after 10 years of seperate spaces, "mom's house" and "dad's house". Decided to add other elements to the blog since tails of continual marital bliss may become boring to the reader! Have fun!
